Associate Professor Scott Findlay

Associate Professor, Monash University, Australia

A/Prof Scott Findlay completed his PhD in Physics at the University of Melbourne in 2005. He has been a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Postdoctoral Fellow (2008-2010) at the Institute for Engineering Innovation at the University of Tokyo, and a QEII Fellow (2011-2015) and ARC Future Fellow (2020-2024) in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Monash University. He uses theory and numerical modelling to develop new approaches to imaging and quantitative analysis in scanning transmission electron microscopy.
